Is there anything to do in Raleigh?  It depends on your age, interests, hobbies etc., but the overwhelming answer is YES.  Over the past ten years Raleigh has seen an incredible amount of growth, which is credited to many things, but mainly the job market, climate and availability of affordable housing compared to the rest of the country.  Real Estate or Housing is what some call the “wheel”….  it is the center and basis of a population which is connected with (spokes) commerce, education, health-care and all other ingredients from which a society feeds.

With that said, Raleigh now can support many things smaller cities cannot.  We now have a Professional Hockey team the Carolina Hurricanes, two minor league baseball teams, a pro soccer league and believe it or not a Rugby Club.  Raleigh has at least six Museums, 5 plus major shopping malls and a handful of world class medical facilities.   Downtown Raleigh currently has 21 major projects under construction ranging from condominiums to a new convention center which will be complete in 2008.  Education and Transportation are the two biggest challenges any city faces with growth and Raleigh has stepped up to the challenge with the construction of I540 or a bond program to build new schools.

If you have not visited this part of the country I suggest you make plans to see what everyone is talking about.  We are two hours from the beach and around 4 hours to the mountains which helps make us a very desirable place to live.  For more information you can visit me here.
